For us, 2024 was a year when everything got too much. We knew we needed to change our lives. I remember once hearing an aunt of mine refer to her own daughter ‘dropping out’, and thought what a wonderful concept that was — to drop out of life.
Roll on 2026, and we haven’t dropped out of life, but we have decided to take a step back from 24/7 working. This prompted our move to Worcestershire, in search of a calmer, more family-focused way of life.
I’ve sold Scandinavian furniture for a decade, and decided to combine it with another great Scandinavian concept: Hygge. Welcome to somewhere you can gather with friends, share a drink, and feel truly content.

Every corner styled for warmth, comfort and good company.
Raclettes and fondues built right in — shared food, shared moments.
Mid-century furniture with character, sourced and restyled with care.

"Hyggie is the perfect embodiment of Hygge — I finally understand what the word means. Cosy, unhurried, genuinely welcoming. The shared plates are delicious and cooking together at the table is just wonderful. A hidden gem in Tenbury."
"Stumbled across Hyggie on a Friday evening and ended up staying for three hours. The raclette at the table is such a brilliant idea — we were cooking, drinking and laughing the whole time. Exactly the kind of place Tenbury has needed. Faye makes you feel like a guest in her home rather than a customer. Already booked again for next month."
